The Virtual Reality in Mexico

In last years, Mexico have been growing in adoption and development applications of virtual reality. From entertainment until medical and educational areas. It is becoming the industry and opening new job opportunities to all.

Currently, the VR (Virtual Reality) had won popularity in the country, so nowadays It isn’t rarely trying a VR visor and enjoy the immersive environment. This is a fact, due to buy a VR device is more accessible to difference years ago, and also the entertainment sector is a key factor of popularity for VR in the country.

Some applications for this technology are:

Education 

In the education, is a great tool to learn and teach some important subjects. Additionally, we can dive into interactive educational environments as museums, laboratories and historical places, which allow to learn in way more easy and collaborative. 

In the future, It will hope can be introduce laboratories with virtual reality visors in schools that supports the adquirient knowledges and so improve the quality of education.

Industry

Another important sector, which is benefit to introduce of VR is the industry sector, where is replied a real work situations. That allows workers get practical skills without risks or damage expensive equipment. 

Healthcare

In Healthcare, the use can from rehabilitation therapy to develop healthcare skills, this guarantee a better attention for the patients. 

Regarding about rehabilitation's sessions the patients could be benefited by technology advances to reduce risks and physical limitations. Another applications of VR could be in the mind health therapies to treat phobias anddiagnostics.

Conclusions

In conclusion, while the technology advance and it will be more accessible, we will see a major growing and adoption in a diversity of sectors. Altought the price of this tecnologies are more accesibles, the aren't common in the general populations, and just few institutions in Mexico where are implemented. We hope in the future, these technological advances reach all population and public institutions, so we can grow as society and nation.
